Peter Ladd

Visual Storyteller

For as long as he can remember, Peter has been looking at the world through the lens of design while also wanting to do what he can to design a better world around him. He got his formal training from Humber College and Emily Carr, specializing in graphic design, branding and typography. He spent the earlier years of his career working at karacters design group and Toolbox Design, collaborating with great people on brands such as Toronto Hydro, BC Hydro, BC Place, SunRype, Earth’s Own, Ledcor, and Butterfield and Robinson. Throughout his career, Peter came to realize that his true love lies in shaping a brand and giving it direction and meaning, while also helping it reach beyond what might be expected of it and stretch outside its comfort zone. Peter is currently Creative Director and Co-Founder (with Don Cleland) of Pendo, a multidisciplinary branding and design company that BB&Co regularly collaborates with to bring clients’ brand stories creatively to life. His work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Applied Arts, HOW and Graphis.
